- How to Make Pirate Ice Recipe
Step 1: Prepare the Base Slush
- Add crushed ice, pineapple juice, coconut water or coconut milk, and optional sugar to a blender.

- Blend until smooth and slushy. The texture should be thick enough to hold layers without mixing too quickly.
Step 2: Start Layering
- Fill each tall glass halfway with the blended tropical ice mixture.

Step 3: Add the Red Layer
- Slowly pour the strawberry syrup or grenadine down the inside edge of the glass.

- Because the syrup is heavier than the ice mixture, it will settle toward the bottom, creating a bold red layer.
- Allow it to settle for about 20 seconds before adding the next layer.
Step 4: Add More Ice
- Carefully spoon additional blended ice mixture on top of the red layer.

- Do not stir.
Step 5: Create the Blue Top Layer
- Using the back of a spoon, gently pour blue curaçao syrup over the top so it floats.

- Pour slowly to prevent blending.
